Performance
CSF is committed to maintaining a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence. Each employee and contractor is evaluated regularly to ensure strong performance, role clarity, and alignment with CSF’s mission and values.
Provisional Period
All new hires and contractors complete a ninety (90) day provisional period. During this time, CSF evaluates work quality, dependability, collaboration, and compliance with organizational policies.
The provisional period provides an opportunity for both CSF and the individual to confirm mutual fit.
Completion of the provisional period does not alter the individual’s at-will employment or contract status.
Performance Reviews
Formal performance reviews are conducted annually, with ongoing feedback provided throughout the year. Each review evaluates:
Achievement of goals and deliverables.
Compliance with organizational policies and ethical standards.
Collaboration and communication with peers, supervisors, and partners.
Initiative, innovation, and contribution to CSF’s overall impact.
Professional development progress and training participation.
Supervisors and Designated Officers may also conduct interim evaluations as needed to address specific performance issues or to document exceptional achievement.
Performance Standards
Employees and contractors are expected to:
Maintain accurate, timely, and professional documentation.
Fulfill all responsibilities defined in their job description or contract.
Demonstrate integrity, respect, and accountability in all interactions.
Support CSF’s commitment to child safety, organizational integrity, and continuous improvement.
Retention and Development
CSF actively supports professional growth and retention through:
Regular feedback, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
Annual satisfaction and engagement surveys to assess work experience and identify areas for improvement.
Exit interviews and turnover analysis to strengthen retention strategies.
Promotion
Promotion is based on demonstrated excellence, reliability, and alignment with organizational needs. Advancement decisions consider:
Proven ability to perform at or above current expectations.
Measurable contributions to team and mission outcomes.
Professional qualifications and readiness for expanded responsibility.
