Grievance Process
This policy establishes a fair and transparent process for addressing workplace concerns, including discrimination, harassment, and other employment-related issues.
Procedure
Informal Resolution
Employees are encouraged to discuss concerns with their immediate supervisor or the Designated Officer when appropriate.
Formal Complaint
If the issue is not resolved informally, the complainant may submit a written complaint including:
Name and contact information
Description of the concern
Date(s) and individuals involved
Desired resolution
Complaints should be submitted to the Designated Officer or directly to the Board Chair if the Designated Officer is involved.
Investigation and Response
The Designated Officer will initiate an investigation within five (5) business days and provide a written response outlining findings and any corrective action.
Appeal
If unsatisfied, the complainant may appeal to the Board of Directors within five (5) business days of receiving the response.
The Board will issue a final written decision within ten (10) business days.
Confidentiality and Non-Retaliation
All complaints will be handled with discretion. Retaliation for raising concerns or participating in an investigation is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action.
