Anti-Harassment

CSF is committed to maintaining a work environment that promotes respect, equality, and professionalism. Harassment of any kind, whether verbal, physical, or visual, is strictly prohibited. This includes behavior that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work environment or interferes with an individual’s performance.


Types of Harassment

  • Harassment includes unwelcome conduct based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

  • Sexual harassment includes unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or other conduct of a sexual nature when:

    1. Submission to such conduct is made a term or condition of employment;

    2. Submission to or rejection of such conduct is used as a basis for employment decisions; or

    3. Such conduct unreasonably interferes with an individual’s performance or creates a hostile or offensive work environment.


Examples of Harassment

  • Unwelcome sexual advances, jokes, or comments.

  • Display of offensive images or materials.

  • Verbal abuse, slurs, or ridicule.

  • Physical conduct such as unwanted touching or blocking movement.


Reporting and Response

  • Any individual who believes they have experienced harassment should report the incident immediately to the Designated Officer or any Board member.

  • If the complaint involves the Designated Officer, the individual may report directly to the Board Chair.

  • CSF will investigate all reports promptly and confidentially to the extent possible.

  • Retaliation against anyone who makes a good-faith report or participates in an investigation is strictly prohibited.
